What were my dreams of yesterday

Sadness and loss mixed with joy, sway

Achievement an ability to go on

Life is a lilting song,

High's and low's sweet and sour

Life creeps forward hour by hour,

The joy of sharing

With someone caring,

That I think is life's answer

Life is after all, a merry dancer.
