Time Passes

By

Win Rainer

Time comes and go all too soon

First the morning then the noon

Like sliding down a mountain much too fast

Now a woman, all girlishness past,

Looking ahead flashing signals to red

Dark clouds forming, soft ground to tread,

Brightness and sunshine flashing by

Reaching for that, which we can not buy.
