The Fool

by

Win Rainer

There goes the fool

Who thinks she owns the world

Arouind her a creed of selfishness has curled,

Her attitude to others cold and cynical

Pure machinery and purely clinical,

But the circle of life turns slowly around

Down to earth she comes, bang to the ground,

Will she learn her lesson and change her ways

I doubt not, but she after all, is the one who pays.
