No guns today, wild wind on rampage goes

Tossing branches as thro’ the trees it blows

Splashing rain that shows no mercy

As it hits the field of grain,

Storm tossed clouds across the sky are born

Wild bird in flight, so fragile battle on

Was summer yesterday, where has it gone.
