My Own Years

by

Win Rainer

My years have gone, I am content

I have learned, what life has truly meant,

Like calm waters, after crossing stormy seas

Time to understand, and quietly release,

Pure feelings of peace, I find

Sure in mind of a pleasing kind,

My quiet time, a reward for past years

For all the joys sadness and tears,

Sweet content, its value priceless be

At the end of time, I am glad, to be me.
