Mother Earth

by

Win Rainer

Do we think deeply enough? Do we?

She is a living thing beautiful and free,

Providing us with fresh air to breath

Water our greatest, need her gift she bequeath,

Her sky so beautiful, her stars at night

The dawn so breathtaking, gives light,

Storms to purify the air

Hurricanes to destroy and repair,

Where the soothing rays of the sun always lay

It heralds the making of a new day,

Walk in her world always there to find

Peace and tranquillity of a pleasing kind.
