Frosty Light

By

Win Rainer

Golden rustic shades of Autumn

In frosty morning light,

Hedge rows glistening

Spiders webbs purley white,

Bright red berries hang in clusters

For birds winter food

Autumn in its most enchanting mood

The church clock strikes

Its silvery tone floats across the air

Completes the fantasy

Of a fairyland I find there.
