A Shooting Star

Win Rainer

17/05/04

Behold its beauty on a starry night

Its absolute perfection glowing bright,

A star that shoots and fades in all its glory be

Mere mortals on earth hold their breath to see,

In politics we tend to follow a bright star

Our hopes and dreams with time to go far,

We in our world must support and understand

The main aim is to look after our people and land,

We must find and support someone stable and true

However bright a shooting star, it is not for me and you.
